Gathering Evidence
A 30 day photography practice that pulls you back to what’s going right.
We start on the Spring Equinox, Thursday March 20th.
The news is loud. Your mind is louder.
This is the practice that changes the channel.
Instead of doomscrolling, you’ll start intentionally collecting proof of the beauty that’s in plain sight.
Doing this in community raises the frequency, and gives you an added boost to keep going.
What it is
One photo a day. Thirty days.
Gathering Evidence is a guided practice of using your camera, any camera or your phone, to find evidence of beauty, aliveness, and awe in your ordinary life.
You’ll receive one simple prompt a day in your inbox and take one intentional photo in response.
Nothing to prove.
Evidence.
You are not here to impress the algorithm. You’re here to gently retrain what your eyes and your nervous system focus on.
Why this works
Trains your Reticular Activating System, or RAS, to look for what’s going right. What you put your attention on grows. This daily practice becomes a way of life.
Acts as a living gratitude list in visual poetry.
Gratitude practices are proven to
increase happiness
reduce symptoms of depression
improve sleep and overall well being
Helps you stay present and resourced without bypassing what is hard.
