“So here is a wee secret.
I loathe getting my picture taken. I also have to put myself “out there” a LOT in my businesses. Pretty much more with every passing month. So a lot of the time this has meant taking iPhone photos in my house, taking 100 and selecting 2, editing the living hell out of them and calling them my professional photos.
I am crazy uncomfortable in front of cameras, or...I was. This week Catherine Just and I were both in Cabo at the same time. Catherine is far beyond talented. I love the slow process of working with film cameras and the instant magic of Polaroid.
I’m in the early stages of building a traveling darkroom, using direct positive film and caffenol to develop by hand.
Working fast and slow at once allows me to drop into the present moment and listen with my entire being. This work is a ritual of returning to the breath, to stillness, to the poetry or the in-between.
I love investigating what lives inside the moments we cannot see but we can feel deeply. Meet me there.

Catherine does not give refunds on photography sessions. If you need to cancel the photo session the money can be used toward another session or an online course. You can read more about the refund policy HERE.
