Take what you're feeling and turn it into visual poetry.

Into the Deep

Photography as Medicine

An eight-week immersion in conceptual photography, self-inquiry, and creative alchemy.

This isn't about taking better photographs. (Although you will.)

It's about using photography to explore what lives beneath the surface.

You'll transform memory, longing, love, and the stories you carry into beautiful works of art.

Your photographs become the language for everything you've never quite known how to say.

You don't need to be a photographer.

You only need a willingness to be curious about yourself and make something beautiful from what you find there.

This course is for anyone
longing to feel
more creatively alive, more deeply expressed, and more at home
in their own skin.

This isn't a technical photography class. Use whatever camera you already feel at home with - your phone, a Polaroid, a film camera, or a point-and-shoot.

Why I Created This Course

I grew up in an abusive home and spent much of my childhood feeling anxious, afraid, and like I didn't belong.

By thirteen, I was drinking and using drugs to quiet what I was feeling. By eighteen, I was addicted to crystal meth and had reached a point where I didn't want to be alive anymore.

Then something shifted.

A quiet voice inside me said, "There's more to this life than what you're living." I heard it and became curious about life.

I got sober the summer I graduated from high school and instead of trying to escape myself, I learned how to use any discomfort as an opportunity to lean in.

I’ve been sober 38 years. I studied conceptual photography, apprenticed with Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, and immersed myself in practices like EFT tapping, breathwork, Vedic meditation, hypnosis, and other healing modalities.

Together, they taught me how to transform my inner world instead of running from it.

This course is the intersection of everything that changed my life.

My hope is to offer you what was given to me: a way to turn your inner world into something beautiful, feel more at home in yourself, and discover a deeper sense of freedom through creativity.

What You'll Experience

Over eight weeks, you'll be invited to slow down, pay closer attention, and create from a place that's honest instead of performative.

Together we'll explore:

• Creative prompts that help you move beyond overthinking and into making.

• Honest feedback that strengthens both your photographs and your creative process.

• Conceptual fine art photographers whose work will expand your way of seeing.

• Writing, breathwork, and grounding practices that help quiet perfectionism, self-doubt, and hesitation.

"Honestly, the only thing that kept me from giving up on photography was this space. The weekly calls, the support, and the accountability to keep creating. I almost didn’t apply to a juried art show because I didn’t think my work was good enough… and I got in. That moment changed something for me.

Since then, I’ve been accepted into multiple shows and had my work featured in a magazine.

You believed in me and my work at a time when I couldn’t see it for myself. And each week I show up, it keeps that creative flame alive. I’m deeply grateful for the space you’ve created and for how it’s helped me remember who I am."

-R.

“It’s not just photography, and it’s not just personal growth or spiritual practice, it’s all of it, woven together in a way I’ve never experienced before.

Before this, I was overthinking everything. Not trusting myself. Holding back in my work. That changed.

The way you teach shifted how I show up. Not just creatively, but in all areas of my life.

It went far beyond what I expected.”

YOUR MENTOR

Catherine Just

VISUAL ARTIST • FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
SEER • MENTOR

At 18, newly sober from a meth addiction, I picked up a camera and turned my pain into visual poetry. It saved my life.

Three decades later, my work blends Toltec wisdom, somatic practice, and a deep ability to see what lives beneath the surface.

When I look through the lens, I am not searching for an image. I am listening for truth.

My work has been exhibited internationally in Milan, Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles, and featured in National Geographic and O Magazine.

Beyond the gallery, I work with photographers and artists who are ready to stop holding back and be fully seen, through both private sessions and immersive group experiences.

I’m also a single parent to my son, Max, who has Down syndrome. He continues to teach me daily about presence, connection, and what it means to truly show up.

I believe showing up fully
and loving yourself no matter f*ing what
is the most powerful creative act there is.

Take what you're feeling and turn it into visual poetry.
