Carrie-Anne Moss at her private residence in Los Angeles

This is not a photo shoot.

It’s a ceremony.

You arrive as yourself. Not the version of yourself you've learned to present.
Not the one who performs for cameras, shrinks in photographs,
or has spent years making herself smaller so others could be more comfortable.

You arrive as the one who’s finally done with all of that.

“Catherine sees me. Some of my most transcendent moments have been in front of her lens.”
— Danielle LaPorte

The Process

No two sessions are the same.
Because no two women carry the same current.

We begin with a private clarity call.
Not about outfits just yet…. About who you are and what you’re wanting to step into

We get to the root of the root of where you’re heading
Then we design from there. (….and then we talk about outfits!)

Your session begins weeks before you arrive.

We prepare intentionally. Through breathwork, energy work, and guided practices, I help you regulate your nervous system and clarify your vision so you arrive grounded, not performing.

On the day of your session, you are not bracing.
You are present.

We connect.
I shift the energy in the room.
We create.
I use digital and film cameras depending on what we’ve designed together.
You’ll receive final digital images 3 days after your session. Film can take 5-7 business days.

“Since I was aware I had a body I have hated and hidden my body. I’ve been on a journey to reclaim it. This was about the right to exist and be seen. This isn’t just about beautiful photos, though it is: it’s about seeing your own power and being in your body and claiming your space in this world. It’s worth every penny and more.”

Investment

Sessions begin at $5000.

This includes your private clarity call, custom session design, energy preparation, your photography session, and a curated gallery of final edited images you’ll use for years to come.

I know you’re done hiding in plain sight. This is your moment.

“To be frank? There are no words that truly do the magic of Catherine's work justice. To say she sees people in all their beauty is like saying the moon moves the sea. Catherine's work is transcendent. She's an artist. Not a portrait photographer. Her mission is to see your essence, and to capture it in all of it's beauty. For two years I've trusted her with my voice and my soul in her lens, and those two years have turned my business into the one I see today. She sees me, and in seeing me, I see myself. All of me. All of the potential, the joy, the movement, the raw energy. She's a soul alchemist. Her medium is photography. Hire her. You will not be disappointed.” - M.

Behind the Scenes

I work with digital, film and Polaroid cameras.

Some of my clients want to create sacred ceremony
with my large format camera.

I call this “Capturing Breath on Film”

This is a photo session that uses a longer exposure time. I believe that we’re capturing more than a portrait. Whatever you’re feeling, whatever you’re thinking, what you want to release or bring in… you focus on what is nudging you to step into. Some of the images are slightly blurry because I’m documenting your movement as you breathe naturally and your heart is beating. Your unique but universal life force evergy. The photos are developed on sight in a traveling darkroom. The entire process is meditative, slow and allows for true presence. Some add in additional images for their website, social media and branding or for sensual photos of embodiment or all of it. I’ll choose a variety of cameras to based on your custom designed session.

of what these specific sessions are like.

At 18, newly sober from meth addiction, I picked up a camera and turned my pain into visual poetry.
It saved my life.

Three decades later, my work is rooted in creative expression, Toltec wisdom, somatic practice, and a lifetime of seeing what isn’t said - what lives between the words.

When I look through the lens, I’m not looking for an image. I’m listening for truth. I use a Large Format film Camera, Polaroid, and a medium format Rolleiflex camera. I love the slow meditative process of using film with the instant gratification of Polaroid and the look and feel of both.

I exhibit my art internationally, offer photo sessions globally and teach courses online.

*Favorite thing: I’m the proud single mama of my son Max who has Down syndrome.
