Artist’s Statement:
“Chasing Fog” is an ongoing project exploring love, loss and what lives in-between them. Through self-portraiture and still life, symbolism and metaphor I translate personal experiences into visual poems. Using a vintage Polaroid SX-70, a 4x5 large format film camera and hand stitching I'm interested in the tactile and intimate experience the analogue and hand made processes bring. These images are created during my travels to Marrakech, Morocco, Paris, Cannes and Arles, France, Rome, Italy and inside my home in Los Angeles. Each place holds a story embedded inside each photograph.

Selections of this work have been shown in Exhibitions in Paris with Alta Vista Arts, Los Angeles at OFFUS gallery at the Historic Bendix Building, in Arles, France with Duncan Miller Gallery at Les Rescontres, and upcoming in Milan at the Milan Photo Fair with Alta Vista Arts.
